elated?

things are settling around here. the house has been painted and moved into, warmed, and tiled, light fixtures changed, plumbing fixed, furnace replaced, a/c installed, kitchen faucet replaced, oh and we even have a little garden planted. all that’s really needed is some fantastic wall ’stuff’. art, photos, hanging bodies, something.. so that’s the next project.

i’ve also aquired employment… as a pizza pizza phone answerer. so if you live in the hamilton area and want to order a pizza from p.p. you may get me on the phone, nifty eh? it’s not glamourous, but it could be worse, i was almost ready to apply to tim hortons.. those commercials are catchy.

the bonus of a job like this, as I was commenting to a friend the other day, is that it’s one of those leave at work kind of jobs, when once you’re at home you don’t need to worry about deadlines, and planning etc. so for now at least I can actually have guilt free time at home. probably spent looking for non leave at work jobs…

in other news we saw a kid twist his body into strange shapes on friday on the corner of james and king. this was hours after we walked past the bullet holes from wednesday night. i love our neighbourhood.
